WHAT IS NEOSO?
The Northeast Ohio Sourcing Office (NEO|SO), a Council of Governments and 501 (c)(3)
not-for-profit organization headquartered in Northeast Ohio, creates and manages group
purchasing programs for local governments and other public sector entities.
NEO|SO’s established group purchasing programs deliver its Members improved pricing,
additional value-added services, and enhanced terms and conditions. NEO|SO’s programs
save taxpayer dollars and enable public sector entities to control costs while improving
operational efficiencies. Some examples of products and services available through
NEO|SO’s programs include auto parts, bulk road salt, telecom audit services, and
maintenance and janitorial supplies.
NEO|SO specializes in identifying group purchasing opportunities that provide value to
our Members. We manage the sourcing and contracting process in accordance with Ohio code
to ensure that our Members are in full legal compliance. We then work with each Member
individually to determine which of our programs are best-suited for them. And, most
importantly, we consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service.
