PC Lifecycle Management
Specifically, one organization, Cuyahoga Community College, has committed to act as the lead partner in the development of a Personal Computer (PC) Lifecycle Management Program. NEO|SO is now seeking additional organizations to join Tri-C on the sourcing committee and in the development of this new program.

NEO|SO is proud to partner with Tri-C on another valuable program. You’ll remember that Tri-C is the lead partner for the NEO|SO Office Products Program that will be finalized and formally launched later this month. The success of the office products process is just one reason that Tri-C has committed to being the lead partner for not only PC Lifecycle Management, but for the creation of several more programs in 2009. Thank you President Thornton, Jerry Hourigan, and their staffs for this commitment!

What is PC Lifecycle Management? NEO|SO anticipates that this program will include several options to choose from to suit the individual needs of each NEO|SO Member. Anticipated equipment/service levels include:

  • Procurement of individual personal computers
  • Procurement of personal computers with limited additional services (e.g., installation of images)
  • Procurement of a total cost, PC lifecycle management solution (installation, service, etc.)
  • Procurement of a thin-client solution

Even if your organization anticipates purchasing just a few computers in 2009, joining the sourcing committee ensures that the program is designed to suit your specific needs. Additionally, we are asking that a member of your staff return the form to indicate your organizations interest in participating in the development of this valuable program.

As always, do not hesitate to contact NEO|SO with any questions or comments about NEO|SO, the Sourcing Committee Process, or the Lead Partner Program. You can contact Bob Aber (bob.aber@neoso.org) to discuss this program futher.
